best resource on the web
no kidding, this site is awesome! List of strategy and management concepts
Kookyplan contributor recommendations:
One book that I found to be most helpful in dealing with Professional Services Firms is David Maister's "Managing the Professional Service Firm". He also has a great website - www.davidmaister.com. It has given me the tools to analyze firms and their model of operation very quickly. It helps cut through the cozy haze that firms employ when you first make contact with them to see if you'd like to work with them.
Feedback or further insights are appreciated.
Doug
